fast way to get food, tastes pretty solid and good. Priced well, and pretty fresh. I find this place underrated as I don't see many people talking about it. I would say a great time to go here is after school or after a long day of work.

The pesto chicken with rice and guacamole is to die for with a fresh apple, beet, kale, carrot juice is my go-to. Staff is always friendly and has a good place for a healthy and hearty meal. The best call for pick up can be a little wait. Chicken Torta, chicken tacos, and fruit bowl. Also, chopped cheese. If you can order by phone, ahead of time and pick up. Their is usually a wait to place an rder in person.

my favorite juice bar in Elmhurst! really love their watermelon slushy it's sooo good and refreshing! you have to try.

After jumping on the juicing bandwagon years ago, I've found myself back here often. I love that you can make your own juice, I usually do a bunch of greens with ginger and cucumber, but I also love their smoothies with guava - everything is always fresh. Their breakfast burritos are also solid. They deliver, they're affordable, and their juices come in some pretty big sizes. Their fresh rice pudding is also great.

This place is just across the street from where I work, and since I work odd hours, I appreciate that this place is 24 hours. The food is pretty good, but not great. It's more a 3.5 star, but I'm rounding up since they're open any time I need them. I got the breakfast special #4. It's a wrap with chicken, avocado, eggs, home fries, rice, grilled onions, and spinach. It was a really big burrito, but ended up being pretty greasy. The flavors were really muddled and nothing really stood out. But it's one of those things you eat after you've worked 12 hours without food and am ready to scarf anything down. They strangely charge you for salsa, but their green salsa went well with the warp and helped cut through the richness. I've also had their bistec burritos. For me, there's something really wrong about paying $8 for a burrito. But I would have been okay with it if it was really good. Unfortunately, it was not. The beef had no flavor whatsoever and I was relying on the salsa to give it some much-needed flavor. Again, it was greasy. You can do better from any taco cart on Roosevelt. As for fresh juices, I went with the #12. It's kale, spinach, green apple, lemon, ginger, and celery. Perhaps I went for something too creative, but it had a really weird flavor to it. I just tell myself the weird flavor is because my body isn't used to the heathiness of all the stuff that's in the juice. I also understand that, since it's freshly juiced, it's not going to come out cold, but I do wish they had chilled the fruit or added some ice or shaken it with ice. It would have been much better had it not been room temp. It was also a tad sweet, which seems to indicate that they add sugar to their juices. Overall, they're like 7-Eleven. No culinary awards to be won, but if you need a soda at 3am, they're there for you. If you find yourself needing a burrito and kale juice at 3am, Elmhurst Deli is your kind of place.

UPDATE 04/14/2018: THEY NO LONGER SELL TACOS?!?!?!? WTF UPDATE 09/18/2017: open 24hrs & delivers 24hrs!!!! There is a delivery fee based on your location so it will vary based on distance - but now i have to add the extra star ***** 5 stars all the way. what a gem. fresh tacos, burritos, sandwiches, wraps, healthy options. juice bar and smoothies - any kind you can imagine. clean, friendly, reasonable prices and consistent. you really cant beat this place. i love it.

Despite its plain storefront and average name, Elmhurst Deli & Juice Bar justifies the adage of there being more than meets the eye. It's really more than just a convenience store, a juice bar, or even just an average Mexican spot. It's really a little bit of everything I love in an establishment, which just happens to be open 24 hours a day. As a juice bar, they definitely excel. Surrounded by fruits / veggies like a mini market. they've got plenty of fresh combos for anyone on a strict liquid diet, or someone thirsty for a healthy option. The prices are $6.00 for a 24oz and $8 for 32oz, which doesn't sound all that cheap, but consider that 24oz is two cans. I'm not sure if the produce is organic, but it's unlikely at that price point. I am a fan of their ultra green combo, which contains kale, spinach, green apple, lemon, ginger, celery. When cold, it tastes wonderful on a hot day. Their deli options are limited, but a lot of healthy options to accompany a good juice. Their salads are abundant portion wise and their breakfast wraps are essentially burritos stuffed with hearty stuff. The avocado egg wrap ($6) is a personal favorite, which is stuffed with egg whites, a mound of avocado, onions, peppers, and a little mozzarella cheese. The "Extra Special" wraps are next level at $7 a piece, but feature even more ingredients and are slightly bigger than the regular ones. The name doesn't give away, but they're also a full-fledged Mexican deli with enough variety to rival any restaurant. From enchiladas to huaraches or tortas to tacos, the prices are under $10 per item for the most part but the food is actually really decent. I enjoyed my carnitas filled enchilada ($12) as well as my cecina (salted beef) platter ($8.50). The tacos are in the $3 range (who isn't at this point?) and they serve a mean chorizo quesadilla ($8.50). I can't get mad at these options, especially in a place that rocks smoothies and juices as pivotal part of their business. Lastly the staff is a fast and efficient bunch of good guys. Because it's 24 hours, there is a bit of inconsistency with the food prep and delivery, but don't let that stop you from giving this place a shot.
